My friend, who is a barrister, really rated the first episode of Silk for accuracy of a barrister's life. When they start having room to bring the plot in more, it got unprofessional, stupid and offensive, but...nope. That is pretty accurate for what they do. (Also, having heard the accounts of sexism she's faced over the years, the Woman In A Man's World stuff is pretty accurate too.)
