Is this thing on?
Yeah, I've not written anything in, um, far too long. Mostly my life has been far too boring to write about, save for the occasional instances when my life has been far too interesting to write about. Either way, you've not really been missing much, I promise.
As everyone knows, unless you're like me, to whom the calendar is much like a mystery novel with a surprise ending, NaNoWriMo approaches. I plan to do it again, because I'm insane, and I've actually convinced Stan to do it with me, which should be good, because I would type all 50,000 words with my nose rather than let him beat me.
Last year I kept my novel rated PG-13 on purpose lest my family want to read it, since they used to pester me all the time when I let them know I was writing. It turned out that they actually could not be bothered to read any of it, so this year I think I'll write whatever I want. I've been playing with the idea of rewriting the story of King Thrushbeard with a woman in the titular role, because I think it would be interesting to play with and perhaps subvert the misogyny inherent in the story type and because it would allow me to write lots of kinky cross-dressing cross-gen dubcon lesbian sex. We shall see.
I know
laislabevita and
lottelita plan on joining me. Who else is insane doing NaNoWriMo this year?

I'd never read it until just recently. Definitely disturbing. O_O

But best of luck. :) And are you sure you don't want to write a 50000 novel about Tezuka and Inui instead?

Yours sounds much more thought-provoking and interesting, though. I'm just going to have Halle Berry's wig try and take over the world.

Does someone drop a bus on Brett Ratner or something?

He is a decoy for the Real Ebil behind the whole shebang. *shifty*
