So much with the Alias
Okay, so what was with the incredibly poor writing and editing of this episode? How come when we were supposed to be in Lauren and Sark's POV we got so very, very much repeated footage of Syd and Vaughn? Not to mention of, say, Marshall, who obviously didn't belong in their POV? Plus the randomly placed scenes with Sloane and the psychiatrist?
And why do I not care? Hee. Sark could have fabulous chemistry with a wet burlap bag. (
Er, yes, other things happened, didn't they? Sloane is so not Sydney's father. He just isn't. He can insist that it's possible, and delude himself into believing that it's true, and this is all very well and good as a plot point, but ... is not is not is not.
Why does Marshall have the same model of cheap-ass inkjet printer I got for free with my computer in 2001 that never worked because it got damaged en route to my dorm? Shouldn't he print to a spiffy CIA laser printer? :D
I should bring my laptop with me and jot down the silly comments I want to make during episodes ... but I don't ...

I so wanted to jump up and shout about that while we were watching it, but I thought no one else cared (as is usually the case) and kept quiet instead.
Anyway, I guess the convoluted justification would be thus:
Yes, the printer in his office seems to be an unassuming Epson Desk Jet... but who is to say that he hasn't made very special customizations? True, Marhsall could in fact get a top of the line superduper quality color/laser printer. But why would he want to do that, when he can personally make a crappy Epson printer L33t beyond imagination?
