Well, it's a spy-fi/fantasy series focusing on the exploits of Sydney Bristow, CIA agent extraordinaire, and her whole spy family. There's lots of mistrust, betrayal, kickboxing, angst, and double agentry, not to mention plot devices left behind by Milo Rambaldi, prophet, technological mystic and all-around MacGuffin.
I'm gonna second ninglor. I just saw the show for the first time tonight (I'm trying to make it a point to watch it often as Quentin Tarantino is my God and I will never forgive myself if I miss another one of his cameos) and I'm still trying to make sense of it :P
Know any good site I could go to so I can get a general idea? I really need help. *blinks*
Heh, the torture scene was neat. It's so Reservoir Dogs. With the ear getting cut off and everything. *grins* Yes, I'm weird. *scuttles off*
Well, offhand I do know of this handy summary of seasons one and two. But then there's all the wacky stuff going on now in season three ... there seem to be good rundowns of each episode here. Of course, nothing beats watching hours and hours of episodes in a row, which is what I did over Christmas break. ;)
Good luck! And if you have more questions, just ask. :D
Alias has some pretty nifty torture scenes, as torture scenes go, if I do say so myself.
