Stuff and more stuff

I am so writing my first essay on comparing the presentation of mediaeval religious life in The Name of the Rose and Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Oh yes.

I was just going to straight-up write on The Name of the Rose and its relationship to historical and literary sources, but I want to save that topic for Becket, assuming I can contrive to watch it again. Alas, for the DVD will not be released until 31 December, although much rejoicing that it is finally being released at all. With commentary by Peter O'Toole, and much restored, I might add. *drools*

Sadly, my Vikings essay is due sooner, i.e., Friday. Curses. I'll probably take one of the topics that's related to our groupwork for the week to consolidate my research efforts.

You rock. Just so long as it's not the Name of the Rose movie, with Sean Connery.

Ooh, Becket! I remember you gushing about it ages ago and I wrote it down on my buying list. And now that I've returned from London with loads of nice and shiny books, I'm really looking forward to read it.

Also, I really, really love your quirkyness.

Er, yeah. Sort of random comment, this. But. ^^

EEEE!

I seem to be making a habit of ee-ing in your journal. But - they're releasing it?

I and my History prof have been searching for it as if it were the Grail!
