Today is Tuesday and so we are watching House, American Idol be damned! Yay!

In other news, I don't know if anyone on my flist besides underlucius is watching Life On Mars, but I'm really enjoying it, and it didn't seem to have an LJ community, so I created one: lifein1973.

The premise of the show is that Sam Tyler, a detective working on a tough murder case in 2006, gets hit by a car and wakes up in 1973. He's not sure if he's dreaming, insane, or he's really traveled in time, but he's got a whole lot of culture shock to deal with. He has a fabulous, classic love/hate relationship with his new superior, DCI Glen Hunt, who's Sam's complete opposite in every way. Together, they fight crime!

If anyone who's not watching would like to be, I'm sure something could be arranged, ifyaknowwhatImean. ;)

Oh, they are the cutest ever, aren't they? I so loved the scene in the mill, with Sam cracking the joke about wagers and Gene putting his gun down immediately because no one is allowed to be mean to Sam besides him.

We must make allowances for poor Gene. After all, slash hadn't even been invented in 1973 ... :D
