Mayhap encounters Nature; film at 11

Oddly, it is gorgeous out here. Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous. One rarely gets to say that in Missouri in August.

Okay, so it's 78º, with 80% humidity and a thick gray cloud cover that promises rain any minute now. In my book, this is lovely weather and an excellent excuse for going outside. At least until it actually starts raining. Pan might not appreciate that terribly much.

Seven hawks are circling over my head. Unfortunately for them, I am not actually dead. Probably my being sprawled out on the grass confused them.

I made a chain of clover, which I am at present wearing in my hair. This is about as far as I generally go in terms of making a fashion statement. Especially when it comes to fixing my hair.

Fortunately for us, you are not actually dead. But wouldn't it be interesting if you were laying a few inches from a dead mouse or something and weren't aware until they like, swooped down and grabbed it? Eerie.
