mayhap: animated gif of yule log burning (yule log)
So it turned out that what I really wanted to write for Yuletide this year was explicit kinky f/f for extremely innocent childhood books. It's slightly specific.

Mary Anne Takes Charge (3816 words) by mayhap
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Baby-Sitters Club - Ann M. Martin
Rating: Explicit
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Mary Anne Spier/Kristy Thomas
Characters: Mary Anne Spier, Kristy Thomas
Additional Tags: Consensual Kink, Light Dom/sub, Obedience, Foot Massage, Oral Sex, Sex Toys, Yuleporn
Summary: Kristy and I have an arrangement.

This was my main assignment. [personal profile] something_ignites left a nicely open "Any" prompt for the BSC which came in porn and non-porn versions, the former of which was "I am really excited to see what people come up with when I prompt them to write the filthiest dirtiest BSC fanfic they can think of that they'd still personally find sexy." I totally loved responding this prompt, although I don't know how it worked for [personal profile] something_ignites since I haven't had a response from them yet. I'm a huge multishipper in fandom, but Kristy/Mary Anne is definitely my original and truest of BSC OTPs.

Fruit of Nights and Flower of Days (1661 words) by mayhap
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm - Kate Douglas Wiggin
Rating: Explicit
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Emma Jane Perkins/Rebecca Rowena Randall
Characters: Rebecca Rowena Randall, Emma Jane Perkins
Additional Tags: Sexual Roleplay, Bondage, Marking, Established Relationship, Yuletide Treat, Yuleporn
Summary: Rebecca never stopped “acting out” stories with Emma Jane, but she has relocated them to their bedroom.

I wrote this treat for [personal profile] alixtii because I desperately wanted it to exist and there were no takers the last two years running, so I figured that this year I would just write it myself.

It turns out that not a lot of people seem to know Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm? This surprises me, since it's basically the American Anne of Green Gables—or rather, to be honest, Anne is the Canadian Rebecca, although there are a lot more/better Anne sequels, which might have something to do with it. Still, I'm very pleased with it.
mayhap: Kristy and Mary Anne, pillow fight! (Kristy/Mary Anne)
I only have two stories to share this week, but they're both amazing and they both have illustrations!

Babysitter of the Daleks by [livejournal.com profile] sloth_in_a_box, [livejournal.com profile] lippian and [livejournal.com profile] aceattorneysho
Baby-sitters Club/Doctor Who (Eleventh Doctor) crossover. Gen/Humor/Crack. ~PG. 31,820 words.
The Eleventh Doctor comes to Stoneybrook and unlocks the alien mystery of its perpetually-looping timeline (among other things) in this Baby-sitters Club Christmas Super Special.

As a huge fan of DW, the BSC, and cracktastic crossovers, I knew I was going to love this story the minute I saw the lovingly hand-rendered cover. It is absolutely filled with in-jokes about the OTT ridiculousness of the BSC books and I love it.

Vae Victis (33405 words) by Sineala
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: The Eagle | The Eagle of the Ninth (2011)
Rating: Explicit
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Marcus Flavius Aquila/Esca Mac Cunoval
Characters: Marcus Flavius Aquila, Esca Mac Cunoval
Additional Tags: Alternate Universe, Alternate Universe - Historical, Alternate Universe - Ancient Greece & Rome, Alternate Universe - Etruscans, Alternate Universe - Gaul, Etruscans, Gauls, War, Romance, First Time, Additional Warnings Apply
Summary:

War looms on the horizon as Marcus' homeland of Etruria is faced with the unreasoning demands of the Gauls, a vicious, deadly foe. Young and lonely, Marcus begins a tentative friendship -- a friendship that could become something more -- with Esca, a prince of the Gauls. But the differences of the two nations cannot be ignored, and both Marcus and Esca must choose between the needs of their peoples and the desires of their hearts.

True story: I actually had a freshman seminar on the Etruscans with Larissa Bonfante, mumblety-mumble years ago. The Etruscans are awesome, and so is this story.

mayhap: wee Matilda reads a book (Matilda)
This story got way, way long, but it's still Sunday where I am! I hope I haven't muffed any Karen canon too badly, since I haven't been au courant with the Little Sister books since, oh, when I was Karen's age. Thank goodness for the Complete Guide.

Karen's Prom Dress by [livejournal.com profile] mayhap
Baby-Sitters Club. Kristy Thomas/Karen Brewer. PG. 4,205 words.
Karen wants to be just like her stepsister, Kristy. Or maybe she wants something else.

Notes: Written for [livejournal.com profile] piperrhiannon for [livejournal.com profile] short_takes. Karen is in 6th grade and Kristy is a freshman in college.

Nancy Dawes, one of my best friends, pirouetted doubtfully in front of the full-length dressing room mirror. )

The italics that were in the original have been misplaced, because I suck. Sorry. :(

Mary Anne and the Original Problem Children, written for [livejournal.com profile] wisdomeagle, who is just that awesome
Baby-Sitters Club/Bible crossover. G. 4,112 words.
Janine's extra-credit time machine lands Mary Anne with a pair of interesting sitting charges: Cain and Abel. Yes. Seriously.

You can tell it's a good summary when it has the words "Yes. Seriously." in it. (So, yes, I continue to fail at summaries on a regular basis.)

From when Ari suggested the idea to when I posted it, a mere sixteen hours elapsed, which is how I can tell that this is the best plotbunny ever.

I suck so much (ha ha ha) because I ended up asking for an extension to June on my Worple/Sanguini fic for [livejournal.com profile] pornish_pixies because I was writing Prince of Tennis fic instead. I am, like, the living recapitulation of that stupid kerfuffle from a month ago where Tenipuri is killing Harry Potter.

But that is not important. What is important is that everyone who has the vaguest ability to comprehend it go and read [livejournal.com profile] marksykins's BSC/Tenipuri AU this very minute. It is the two things that have been making me ridiculously happy, combined, and it is genius.

Also, tonight is the finals of the Scripps national spelling bee, which my mom and I will be watching. And if no one else writes the Akeelah and the Bee OT3 fic, I may have to do it.

EDIT: I am totally rooting for the homeschooled boy. Because, a.) homeschoolers and former homeschoolers represent, and b.) he looks eerily like wee![livejournal.com profile] satyadasa.

I have made a Kristy/Mary Anne OTP 4eva icon. It was difficult, because I had to photoshop Claudia, Mallory and Dawn out of their adorable lesbian pillowfight.

What do you mean, it's not Easter? It's Orthodox Easter, so there! It's not just that I'm a week late or anything. *polishes halo*

For [livejournal.com profile] wisdomeagle, two misplaced Easter eggs. Jesus/Mary Magdalene. 100 words each. G. Please to not be clicking if you would be offended, or come crying to me if you are, thanks muchly!

Oh, and not anything to do with the Da Vinci Code, either.
