Eep. I've been rather busy the last couple of weeks. Although not, for the most part, the kind of busy where you actually have anything in particular to show for it. Don't you hate it when that happens?

Well, okay, I do have a few things to show for it. Like a mouthful of shiny white teeth that are pastede on yay. (I inherited my father's incredibly lousy teeth, and I banged them up quite a bit when I knocked out my two front teeth when I was three, so finally two years ago I had the front six capped. This was lovely, except that I was always smiling wide enough to show off my bicuspids, and they didn't match. So now they do.)

My dad is going to D.C. next week on business and bringing me along. I shall go to museums and things all day long while he is at work, and our hotel suite with the kitchen and the high-speed internet will be paid for with your tax money (well, those of you who reside in the U.S., anyway). Score!

I kind of want to change my LJ name. Not really for any particular reason, except that my current one is kind of giving me hives. I was thinking of changing it to (well, lots of things, but they were all taken, so never mind) [livejournal.com profile] mayhap. Unless this would cause weeping and gnashing of teeth?

See, I'm so indecisive. I thought it was kind of fitting like that. :D

Mmm, I'm drinking tea out of my new mug. 641.3372, oh yes ...

Edit: Well, now my subject line is all inaccurate, but:

[livejournal.com profile] ninglor has written an Achilles/Patroklos verse fragment entitled The Consort that is lovely and gives me the chills and makes me all inarticulate. You should read it and tell her how great it is.
