The Halls cough drops in the new Tropical Breeze flavor are actually pretty yummy. Good to know.

Well, actually, I'd rather not know, but oh well. Be glad for these things, since they keep me from posting constantly about how my throat hurts, again, and it really really hurts and ow, pain, pain in the region of my throat.

Yeah, I don't actually react well to being sick.

I have cleaned my room. It is now actually very clean. Also, I purchased some very exciting hanging folders. They are purple. They need to be very exciting so as to give me some kind of incentive to file things, instead of shoving them in a drawer and saying that I didn't really want to be able to find them ever again anyway.

This entry is useless. I will conclude it with the quiz I gacked from [livejournal.com profile] supertigerbabe.

France Modern (trois fleurs-de-lis)

You are 'French'. In the nineteenth century, it was the international language of diplomacy. It is a 'beautiful' language, meaning that it is really just a low-fidelity copy of Latin.

You know the importance of communicating 'diplomatically', which for you means both being polite and friendly when necessary and using sophisticated, vicious sarcasm when appropriate. Your life is guided by either existentialism or nihilism, depending on the weather. You have a certain appreciation for the finer things in life, which is a diplomatic way of saying that you are a disgusting hedonist. Your problem is that French has been obsolete for a long time.

What obsolete skill are you?

I went through like twelve packs of those Tropical Breeze Halls in January when I lost my voice (can you imagine? me? not talking?) once I discovered how freaking fantastic they are.  They taste like Bubble Yum.  Or possibly Bubblelicious, or some other fruity chewing gum I used to enjoy before I got braces (I never really got into the habit again after that, which is probably a good thing).

My mom knows shorthand, she always uses it when she doesn't want us to know what she's writing.  Like Christmas gift ideas and stuff.

I thought I was going to be "French," but turned out to be "Latin" which, upon review, turns out to be even more appropriate.  I'll post accordingly.

Thanks for using that icon again.  You know what I like. :)

I searched my computer for something that could serve as a suitable trade for episodes of Lost, but I got nothing.  Unless you happen to like low-quality 80's music videos.  And even then, the selection is meager.

You are the best person in the history of the world ever!

I'm envisioning a mix tape CD with a "Lost" theme.  "Lost in Your Eyes" by Debbie Gibson, "Lost in Emotion" by Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam, "Lost in the Supermarket" by the Clash... Hmm, this already seems to be rather 80's-heavy as well.  Curses.
