I hope that right now you don't think that I'm completely insane. Well, not insane in a bad way, anyway.
I tried to give you some sort of half-formed ideas in my suggestions so you wouldn't have to follow me around with a pair of binoculars just to figure out what kind of thing I like, but what I really hope is that you come up with an idea that you like, and write a story that you like, and believe me, I'll be terribly excited to read it. Knowing my family, this will probably be my only Christmas gift that's a surprise. ;)

yuletide assignment, suffice it to say that it is deeply awesome and that I am the happiest Santa in the North Pole.
And finally, because yes, I have forgotten how to make a post without including one of these:
