Damn it all to hell.
Apr. 12th, 2004 05:45 pmI just chewed up the cord of my nice earbuds by running my chair over it. I should not be allowed to have nice things, as I always wind up ruining them owing to my congenital clumsiness. (Walking. Other people make it look so easy.)
They still seemed to work, and I put tape over the damaged part so they might even continue to do so. I dunno.
These would the earbuds I got to replace the original iPod earbuds, which I stepped on one too many times. Although I'm still uncertain if a little Krazy Glue wouldn't have fixed them again, because I don't have any Krazy Glue.
*gnashes teeth*
For class tomorrow, I get to play with this great paper theater. Of course, by "play with", I mean "perform in front the people who are not remotely my peers, as they are so much better performers than I am, and also that professor visiting from Britain". Which means I have to memorize the edited script that I hacked together from the Roman de Renard this morning when, by all rights, I should not even have been out of bed. This is somewhat problematic.
