Yesterday I met the authors of The Nanny Diaries at a Gallatin event. I knew they were NYU alumns, but not that they attended my very own school. Except it wasn't a school then, it was a division, and I understand they faced exponentially more red tape than do I. They were lovely, funny people, and very interesting, particularly on the subject of being co-authors. They compared it with a second marriage, and I don't know many married people who seem as close. Very cool.
