mayhapLike so many of my compatriots, I celebrated this past Sunday by blowing things up. Or rather, I sat in a lawn chair while a couple of boys blew things up. A helpful hint: when a boy runs in your direction, holding a lit punk, giggling maniacally, you should beware. Remarkably, we are all of us intact.
In spite of having doused my legs up to the knee in Deep Woods Off, I have a chigger bite. Based on the information provided about the habits of chiggers, you can probably imagine where this chigger bite is. If not, I'll give you a hint: it isn't generally considered a nice place to scratch in public.
When I returned to my place of employment after my week's absence, every single shelf and half the carts in the page room were filled with books to be put away. Now, I'm not actually saying that there exists a causal relationship ... actually, yes. Yes, I am. The library goes to pot when I'm not around, clearly. :D
Corrine said that she missed me.
