Today is my last day at work, and I will miss my kids so very much. They're so sweet -- they give me hugs and cards and flowers.

I just finished typing up the last of their poems for the school poetry jamboree. Most of them are scary-bad, of course, but there are a few...



The Wonderful World of Outer Space

I found the moon reflecting in my spoon
I found a UFO landing on my toe
I found the sun dripping onto my hot dog bun
I found a star shining in my candy bar
I found the Milky Way on top of an ice cream sundae.
