potentialities

I loved Corelli's Mandolin ... I had picked it up at the Brandeis used book sale, and then brought it to New York last semester, and finally brought it to Brazil, meaning to read it all along ... and then it just consumed me when I did start reading it one day, and no way was I saving the rest of it for the plane ride back. Stay the hell away from the movie, you say? I suspected as much.

Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom is definitely worth a read. It's smart and interesting, and hey, if you don't mind reading it in any of those formats, it's free. :D
