With regards to the fiction, that's adorable. Frustrating, but adorable. (Probably not adorable for you, though, since you're the one who has to deal with it.) As for the non-fiction, that's also very adorable, and awesome.

My problem was always that my stories were too short, actually. When I was in third grade, my job was to write about a magic item that I wanted to have. I wrote something along the lines of, "I have a magic harp. It's gold and it sounds very pretty. Every time I play it, whoever's listening to it gives me what I want."
