mayhap: Holmes and Watson with text whatever remains however improbable (however improbable)

Yes, it's a fantastic book whose narrator is an autistic boy who loves the character of Sherlock Holmes because of his use of logic and such, which is something that he can empathize with. The story begins with a mystery of a dead dog and the boy decides to solve it, and things turn out to be rather complicated. The mystery is all the more difficult to unravel because the narrator can't follow the emotional cues of the people around him, and the reader gleans just a bit more than he does from his descriptions.

Oh, and I cried at the end.
