Stupid bugspray. I bathed my legs in Deep Woods OFF on the 4th of July, even though I think it's icky, and did that stop a herd of chiggers from making themselves at home in my crotch? Why, no. No, it did not.

Not that I'm bitter, or anything. ;)

*grin* Can't empathise myself, I don't normally go for athletic types. But the men's gymnastics has me glued to the screen every time. Mm. Flexible.

i prefer swimmers over gymnasts. swimmers are muscular yet lean, whereas gymnast bodies take on that inverted triangle shape. large, manly shoulders, but tiny womanly waists. plus, they're mostly all really short.

My mom actually turned her TV off at one point because the Australian women's gymnastics coach was OMG SO MEEN!!1!! to that one girl. I thought this was a slight overreaction, but still.

I'm actually not watching the Olympics all that much. I watch the men's gym. for phwoar value, the women's gym. for "yeeegods how do they DO that?", and the equestrian events because I was a horsey adolescent.

Heh, the Olympics made Mmn so jealous\inferior-feeling that he waited until he thought I was asleep before he went to bed, and then said "I need to go to sleep NOW" when I reached for him.
