I am not certain why Apple and/or the music industry hates Canada so. I think it may have something to do with the fact that your copyright laws are based on earth logic. (Don't worry; I hear from Cory Doctorow that they're trying to change that.)

Of course, it is, in fact, still November, and will continue to be for eleven days. They're probably waiting until, oh, say, 3:00 PM on the 30th so they can be really motivated to negotiate all the rights and design a pretty glass button version of the Canadian flag.
