Email embargo

mayhapGee, self, why do you suppose your email isn't working? Could it be that the server is located in Manhattan? Duh.
Just the one, anyway. The Mac.com address's working still.
On the one hand, I wish I was in New York, because it's my adopted hometown to which I compare all else and I think I should be there for any interesting events such as this. Then I remember that, rather like my Nordic forebears, I've no tolerance for heat whatever and I would be melted all over the pavement. Guess I'll stick around here a bit longer.
We rented and watched The Hours earlier and I quite liked it, for which I suppose I should thank everyone who recommended it to me ages ago.
I have just downloaded the pictures my brother took of the squirrel that drowned in our pool, but I do not think I shall inflict them upon anyone. After removing it, obviously, from the pool, which I had to do because he was all squicked by it, he insisted on taking pictures of it holding firecrackers leftover from the fourth of July in its wet, stiff paws, which of course I had to pose it for because he was all squicked by it.
