Books checked out from Bobst:
So, uh, as you can see I got distracted in the BF1593 call number section with research for my ever-more-meticulous Founderfic ...
I love research, man. It gives me these ideas that I'd never have thought of in a million years. Even when the relation with what I read and what I write isn't obvious to anyone, I know I'm actually indebted to practically everything that goes on around me in one way or another. These books I'm reading may well have as much to do with what I end up writing -- it needs a title, too -- as JKR and her paucity of Founderfacts, but no one would dream of stopping me writing it on their account.
- Cunning Intelligence in Greek Culture and Society by Marcel Detienne and Jean-Pierre Vernant
- Hermes the Thief by Norman O. Brown
- The Homeric Hymns translated by Michael Crudden
- Hymns of Hermes by G. R. S. Mead
- Aspects of Anglo-Saxon Magic by Bill Griffiths
- Witchcraft and Magic in Europe in the Middle Ages by Karen Jolly, Catharina Raudvere and Edward Peters
- Rise of Magic in Early Medieval Europe by Valerie I. J. Flint
