Comfort listening

I'm putting on my audiobook of The Fellowship of the Ring today. The reader is fairly pleasing -- he sounds like he should have been one of my grandfathers, and is certainly someone else's.

oooh lovely. :) I have been listening to lots of Patrick O'Brian and some Austen and Bronte audiobooks lately.

(psst I highly recommend audiobooks if you are not already aware of its existence! there are loads of great books. :)
