Dave Barry is taking an indefinite leave of absence starting in January. This makes me very sad.
Why am I presently procrastinating on the essay that I want to write comparing the depiction of religion in The Name of the Rose and Monty Python and the Holy Grail that is due tomorrow, you might ask?
To write Picard/Q, of course. I cannot think of any more fail-proof way to get ideas than to have something else that one is really, really, really supposed to be writing. I should have gone to a less-expensive school I hated. I could have written several novels by now.
Picard and Q are presently engaged in a poncy discussion about the nature of god(s), which makes it sort of on topic, right?
And the answer, of course, is No.
Damnit.
