block, writer's
Oct. 15th, 2009 01:38 pmI think I've figured out what I'm going to write for NaNoWriMo this year, which is good, because November is presently hurtling towards us at a terrifying speed.
I've vaguely considered what I want to nominate/request for
yuletide.
I still have three kinks to write to finish my line in kink_bingo. Maybe they'll get written while I'm procrastinating on the big two.

1 painting
Date: 2009-10-16 11:07 pm (UTC)gack...50 paintings in one month.
I think not.

Date: 2009-10-16 08:52 pm (UTC)I've found that it's a good idea to start out with an idea that's relatively open-ended, so that you don't start out with a totally blank page, but don't end up writing yourself into a corner in 10,000 words because your novel is not corresponding to your beautiful vision, so it sounds like you're in good shape.
Oh, C.S. Lewis. How so awesome and yet so faily? I've been thinking about him lately, mostly because I read Lev Grossman's The Magicians and he does a pretty devestating deconstruction of Narnia via his own fictional Narnia-like fantasy series that his characters have all read.
