Guh. I have to say, I quite enjoyed it, especially on this meta-level where it was kind of a story about storytelling.

Not spoilery, really, so much as it wouldn't be funny if you haven't seen it yet:

I can't have been the only one thinking, during the Agent Smiths' lines:

One purpose to rule them all
One purpose to find them
One purpose to bring them all
And in the darkness bind them
In the land of the Matrix where the Agents lie.

Finally, not a spoiler at all:

I informed my brother before the movie started of my theory that the Matrix moves are, in fact, dance. Dance with dramatic interludes. Dance with special effects. Dance that is so much more evolved than anything that calls itself "dance" is ever going to be as long as it is filled with people who blather on about the purity of form and whatnot.

He expressed derision, so throughout the movie I kept leaning over at key points (several of which are in the trailer) and whispering "Dance. Dance. Dance." And I never talk during movies.

He finally admitted that it was, in fact, dance. Especially during the choreographer-laden credits.

That coat-thingy with the skirt needs to become fashionable right now. It needs to become fashionable for men, so I can ogle them, and for women, so I can have one.

That is all.
