Retcon!

Fortunately (for me and my own personal enjoyment) I am extremely adept at performing retcons, and if I ignore the flagrant use of torture to establish a therapeutic relationship, I can appreciate how just by being a teeny tiny bit more functional, House has a much more realistic range of behavior. I actually hope that he stays a bit more emotionally grounded during this season, and to that end I intentionally embrace his relationship with his therapist, even though if he were a real person I would recommend that House sue him for all he's worth.

I can hardly even express how hot House the gourmet chef is, and in my dreams he would pursue both of these talents all season long, but I suspect that he will be limiting himself in the future. And not, unfortunately, to a cooking show.
