You know when a story premise seems completely obvious to you, but fandom apparently collectively declines to do anything with it?
So, Loki learned everything he knows about magic and fighting from his mom, which is a lovely piece of characterization that Rene Russo and Tom Hiddleston worked out way back during the filming of Thor, even though we don't really get to see Frigga in action until TDW. Both of them die on screen during big fight scenes. Loki, of course, turns out to have faked his death and secretly replaced his father on the throne. So where are all the stories where Frigga turns out to have faked her death and returns that her son is masquerading as her husband and there are awkward Oedipal shenanigans as they pretend to be married???
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.
