For a while it seemed like we were in for another terrible nailbiter, where another epic last-minute Royals comeback was the best outcome we could hope for. In the middle of the game the Royals decided that they would rather cruise to an easy victory instead, which was much kinder to my nails, not to mention a lot of fun to watch.

The Astros were so young and bright-eyed that I almost felt bad watching their dreams get crushed. Almost.

Champagne bukkake continues in the Royals clubhouse.

Oh man. I've been raptly following postseason baseball with my dad, whose lifelong Mets fandom I've finally inherited. What I take from this post is that if the Mets lose tonight, my silver lining will be not having to sit on the couch next to my dad with the phrase "champagne bukkake" in my head. So... thanks?

I'm rooting for the Mets tonight, too! I'm afraid I can't help you if a bunch of grown men should happen to whip out phallic objects and spurt all over each other while you're sitting with your dad, though.
