mayhapI wanted to dress up as Hermione and outfit my brother as Draco (although the ickle boo has not been introduced to the idea of fandom and shipping and did not go, "Oh, are we shipping D/Hr then," and he's half a foot taller than me and would not appreciate me calling him an ickle boo, even though he is) but no one will cooperate with me in putting together even the most cursory of costumes. Am sad because I had a nice grey school-type sweater and I left it in New York, although I wouldn't have had anything for my brother in any case. Hmph.
As wibbly as I'm inclined to be, there's something quite thrilling about how we're all going to be writing new stuff from this new Harry Potter book that I'll have read and started in on at the same time as everyone else (except for those evil, evil people who have got leaked copies and I hate them forever), which will help alleviate the nagging feeling that whatever I think of has not already been thought of, but has actually been done to death and I just hadn't noticed yet.
In the meantime I don't know what to do with myself. Maybe I'll read all these library books. They're certainly going to have a hard time getting read after tomorrow.
