I feel just well enough to be fretful. I get up and, say, shower; and then I think to myself. gee, that was a little tiring. Maybe I should lie down.

Happy, happy news: tomorrow, the plastic tubes come out of my nose! Yay! I have had enough of those things, let me tell you. They're chafing whenever I laugh or smile or anything.

I made a new icon. ;) I think I'll get plenty of use out of it. I have a very healthy appreciation for stories that make me all gooey inside.

Here's a fun link: Pillow Talk. It's an ongoing translation of the Pillow Book, the classic 10th century Japanese text by Sei Shonagon, a lady-in-waiting to Empress Sadako, rendered in the style of the modern blog. I love it. I only wish a.) it were being updated more regularly, or b.) it had a non-broken RSS feed of some kind.

I love you all, and I have a prodigious collection of tabs open to remind me to respond to (or in fact, read) any number of things, because I currently have the attention span of a lobotomized pigeon, for which I apologize.
