Phrase of the evening: GOWN FETISHISM

This week's debate (This House Believes that Harry Potter is a Danger to Our Children) was bloody hilarious, as expected. The opening speaker for the proposition brought down the house primarily by reading selective passages from Order of the Phoenix in a highly suggestive manner, and much fun was had by all. There was also a sidetracking into the issue of whether Gandalf could "whup Harry Potter's ass" (this was, in fact, proposed by an American), but this proposition, like the main one, fell rather spectacularly.

I was going to speak, and say that as a representative of Slytherin House (and with the scarf to prove it), I considered Harry Potter to be a danger not only to our children, but to our Dark Lord and his new world Order, but far too many people had their hands raised as well and I didn't get a chance.

This song cracks my shit up. Totally worth the 99 cents, I tell you.

So, um, I might happen to have finished the first chapter of my Founderfic. And I might be dithering about what to do with it now. Possibly. Hypothetically.

I might also have written a good chunk of the second chapter. And not done much of anything useful today.

i love harry potter...i too have a scarf, which i made my mother knit for me a couple years back. mine, however, is gryffindor....

That rocks. I should learn to knit (I told Danny to teach me, but he couldn't be bothered) and make myself a full complement of house scarves. I just had to go with Slytherin because it's fun to act evil. :D
