I think the universe may be trying to tell me something

First, all the ResNet connections at St. Andrews went down. This was at least as of yesterday morning at 8:00 AM. Supposedly, someone is working on it today and it may be fixed as of sometime. Possibly.

So, I was hanging out in the computer room yesterday evening, which was all very well and good until LJ put the Indigo cluster into read-only mode.

Came back this afternoon to try again and couldn't even sign into the university computers at all. They're working now, obviously, but still. Signs and portents.

Well, I suppose I will go burn my essay to a CD in order that I may print it.

Boo. I'm in the Gallatin lab right now printing stuff, as I can still enter the Gallatin building with my old ID. Perhaps that will last.

I sympathise. UWE's network's gone tits-up as well. And I've got a buggering assignment to be handed in tomorrow. Granted, this is hand-written, but "all" my info is on the computer.
