Shiny things

I downloaded and installed a new toy yesterday, Hydra. It's a spiffy little OS X text editor with HTML syntax coloring, which was just what I was looking for.
However, it also does something incredibly cool: it lets you collaborate on something in real time, automagically over Rendezvous or over the internet if you have someone's IP address. I can think of all kinds of great uses, the least of which is line editing my little brother's goofy story, which has contained such gems as the line "He came charging in what have only be called like a bull." Said possibilities are only limited by the number of people who actually have OS X.
I'm trying to make myself a wee ickle fandom-related website, as opposed to my old website which is visited by family members like my brother. He knows of slash, I guess, because he is a Very Secret Diary fiend, but that's as far along as he's come, and I doubt I'll push it until he's at college too.
