Lost socks

I am at the library. Beneath the computer next to me, there is a pair of dirty inside-out white socks.

I just ... yeah. Socks.

My friend Robin consistently forgets his socks and shoes at our place...

Of course, he lives just upstairs in our building, so it is somewhat understandible.

Indeed, I have been known to take my shoes off in many a place, but I usually manage to remember to replace them when I'm leaving the building.

Incidentally, Barnes and Noble employees have been known to tell me to put my shoes back on. It really made me feel not so much at home.
