Geh. I think I have to, like, go do some of the actual work I get paid for, or something. So far I've spent my morning mostly putting up a bulletin board with watercolors and index cards, which I might add would never have fit on said bulletin board in a million years without my extremely creative arrangement and overlapping.

Also it snowed on me when I arrived here, which was rather odd, to say the least. Isn't sticking, thank God. Snow in New York is a messy affair, not really worth the trouble.

It isn't that you need to have lots of free time to be a writer. Not even remotely. You don't even want to write then.
