Yuletide gameplan

mayhapYuletide nominations open tomorrow! I've been trying to finalize my requests and plan my nominations accordingly, but I'm also convinced that I make terrible requests and/or write terrible prompts, judging by how many pleas went out for someone to please take my pinch hit before it was actually pinched. :/
I wonder if I should not bother repeating any of my requests from last year as they were obviously terrible. Of course, who's to say that my new requests will not also be terrible? Perhaps with the new optional fifth and sixth requests I can put forward a wider variety of terrible requests, if nothing else.
