Today I made an impulse purchase from a local science store. It is a copy of Papermaking: the History and Technology of an Ancient Craft.
Because, you know, I may need to boost my novel's wordcount with authoritative details about the papermaking process. Postapocalyptic monasteries will need a lot of paper, you know, and it's not going to make itself!
I swear, this year I am going to win even if all I do all month is type and chug energy drinks.
